New Fuel Filters at Nepal Oil Depot

Nepal Oil has replaced non EI approved filters with the new filters. With this the fuel supplied to the aircraft has now a new international standard fuel filteration. AOCN thanked NOC Station Manager Mr. Maheshman Shrestha for the implementation of the project which was in progress since past 2 years.

Runway and Taxiway Rehabilitation of TIA
2019-06-04

In its initial phase of Runway and taxiway rehabilitation, TIA authority is rehabilitating the runway.The TIA airport has single runway for operation and the authority is rehabilitating the runway in its first phase. NOTAM is issued for the airport closure/curfew from 2200 hrs NST to 0800 hrs NST for the work till the end of June 2019. The runway rehabilitation is expected to complete by this time and next phase will start for taxiway rehabilitation.

 

TIA is the only international airport in operation in Nepal that is the sole gateway for the interanational visitors to connect to Nepal currently.
